I am a total novice with zero background in computer coding, teaching myself how to write code. I would be so grateful if someone who actually knows what they're doing would please be able to explain why my code below isn't working? Don't give me the solution, please. I tried moving the variables to the beginning of the code but that made no difference in the results.
